Gear Hobbing Machines

Hobbing is a machining process for making gears. We convert the conventional Hobbing machines in to customized CNC Hobbing machines. The rebuilding process requires mechanical, hydraulic, lubrication, pneumatic, electrical, control and coolant systems to be disassembled, cleaned, inspected and repaired or replaced as required. A complete rebuilding process takes place in a series of steps, depending on the machine and its complexity.

We rebuild these machines from 80 mm diameter to 750 mm diameter of various makes like Pfauter, Liebherr, Gleason, WMW, Lorenz, Hurth, Russian make etc. We have converted both i.e. conventional Horizontal Hobbing machines and conventional Vertical Hobbing machines into CNC machines.

Few of the most prominent features of our modified Hobbing machines are as follows:

Bush Spindle is converted into Bearing Spindle and max Spindle speed can go up 800 RPM.

Arbor Clamping can be converted from Manual Morse Taper type to Hydraulic ISO 40 type.

Manual Swiveling axis can be converted into Semi automatic or Fully automatic CNC axis.

Bearing type Revolving Center/Live Center.

Elimination of change gears, differential units for table drive

Menu Driven programming

Fixture, Tooling with Autoloader as needed.

Either Fanuc or Siemens CNC system can be incorporated on machine with new interactive user interface for better control and operation of machine. Our Rebuilt machines are in compliance with DIN standard and quality of the job produced on this machine can be achieved in DIN 7.
